Opening Little Acorn’s and allowing more children the opportunity to experience nature based learning.. has been one of the best things that I have accomplished in my life so far!

I have over 18 years of experience with working with families and caring for children.

My background was originally in the nursing field, but I quickly realized after graduating that my passion was with children.

Once my first child was born, I remember touring so many facilities and I just couldn’t find the quality care I was looking for.. So, I started caring for children out of my home, and “Miss Cassi’s daycare.” was opened back in 2008.

I moved to Gilmanton in 2021 on over 26 acres, and I knew someday I would open a nature based preschool. That’s how Little Acorn’s came to be…When I opened in 2024, I knew my vision was to provide the care to children that i didn’t feel I could find for my own children when they were little, and I feel like that’s exactly what Little Acorn’s is. A quality program, that is nurturing and focuses on the whole child.

Every day has been so beautiful and magical and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to have this amazing program available to our community!
